The Albert Academy Alumni Association Cohort of 1980-90 was set up with the primary aim of bringing together all who attended this great institution from 1980 to 90 to reminisce about old times and help redevelop our school.
The Cohort now has over 170 members and is growing daily with alumni who did not attend within the years specified for membership asking to join our cohort as honorary members!
We started as a WhatsApp group of friends back in 2022, then at an online meeting of all members on 13th August 2022, a decision was taken to set up a Caretaker Executive whose primary charge was to put in place the governance, systems and procedures for a cohort-based Alumni Association with an emphasis on transparency and accountability.
The Caretaker Executive delivered and on 29th April 2023, elections were conducted for the first president of the Cohort. Dr Delordson Moinina Kallon, class of 1982-87, was duly elected President and Mr Emile Kargo, class o0f 1982-89, was Elected as an Independent Auditor.
